Who we are ?
Who are we? "My name is Giuseppe & since I was a child, I have been mending bicycles - I was very good at breaking them so I had to learn how to fix them! Back in 1985, in Italy, my father and mother opened our family bicycle shop, so I started working on their customers’ bikes as well. Even at the age of 13 I thought this was the best job in the world. In 2006 I started as a professional mechanic for teams in Italy and as result I got to travel throughout Europe. I was lucky enough to get training directly from some of the greats, companies like Bianchi, Campagnolo, Shimano and Sram. Over the years I have seen many riders struggle to get their bikes to perform the best for them, this included their riding position & mechanical setup. I worked with them to personalise their individual setup so they could take their training sessions and races to the next level. I have worked on the very best and very worst of bikes. So, whether you use your bike to commute, go for a weekend jaunt about the lakes or forests, hit the road with other weekend warriors, race, travel the world, or only ride to the local shops, whatever the problem I’ve most likely seen it before. At Brisbane Bicycle Service our team of local experts with global experience, you can trust us to take special care of your pride and joy. Another thing we enjoy doing, is sharing our knowledge. We can run teaching sessions, at your home, your local shed or school, etc. We can cover topics from basic cleaning and maintenance through to stripping your bike right down and rebuilding them. We also offer specialist services such as full frame preparation, custom bike-building, wheel-building and suspension services using only professional quality tools and recognized brand spares. 100% HANDMADE CARBON FRAME Signorello Stradale is hand made carbon frame built with tube to tube technology from italian craftsmen. Each step is made with high precision by our experts, from the production of the tubes to the final bandage with carbon skins. Square tubes, that we designed and built, confer stiffness and comfort at the same time. This is a perfect bike fast on flat and climbing terrain. the result depends greatly on the extent you intend to give to the head tube: high - comfortable or lower - aerodynamic. INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING Full internal cable routing for brake and shifter cables on all frames. Compatible with standard and Di2 components. Maintains cleanest lines for optimal aerodynamics, while also keeping grit and grime from affecting shifting and braking performance. Cables are routed from the handlebar through the frame and exit at the top tube, BB, and chainstay. Corrosion resistance Titanium’s natural coating of Titanium Dioxide prevents it from oxidising in the atmosphere, so it will never rust, unlike steel, and, unlike aluminium, it will not corrode when exposed to acidic or alkaline environments. So aesthetic and performance quality will never be compromised by the weather. Strength to weight The tensile strength to density ratio for Titanium outstrips every other frame building metal. Simply put, for the same weight frame, Titanium will be twice as strong as steel and three times as strong as aluminium. Stiffness to weight Rigidity is essential for efficient power transfer and Titanium’s stiffness to weight ratio is superior to all other metals.
